am concerned about the damage that would have been done to the ancient Egyptian sites during the shooting of the film ‘Singh Is King’.
while watching a video of its song, ‘jee karda’ i was alarmed at the dangerous proximity of the film crew to the centuries old monuments. akshay is seen literally hugging an ancient pillar with heirographic inscriptions. i wonder how could the Egyptian authorities give permission for such a blatant act.
on the other note, it is very amusing to watch a green turbaned Akshay Kumar and short pink dressed Katrina Kaif dancing with abandon and a hundred other ‘gora’ extras, amongst the regal ruins of this once great civilisation. the Pharaohs must be dancing in the tombs.
