khali ghonslon ki tarah
khali meri ankhein
raah takti hain din bhar
ke jo panchi bikhre hain teri yaad ke
shaam ho jaye jara
toh laut aayein ghar apne
these eyes of mine
empty, like empty nests
wait all day long
for the scattered birds of your memories
to return home
when the evening falls
